AusPayNet Annual Review 2025

The 2025 AusPayNet Annual Review presents a snapshot of our work in FY2025. Together, we create confidence in payments for all. 

Key highlights include:

• Leading work to coordinate the smooth transition away from cheques.
• Collaborating with industry about the future of account-to-account payment infrastructure.
• Planning the migration of the Australian card payments system to the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).
• Concluding the migration of the High Value Clearing System to the ISO 20022 messaging standard.
• Launching the e-Conveyancing Payments Industry Code.
• Issuing two technical standards – the Standard for Payment Service Provider Porting of Merchant Payment-Related Data, and the ATM Access Standard.
• Engaging with government and regulatory stakeholders to help manage policy and regulatory changes.
• Hosting our biggest Summit to date, our first in-person Member event in Brisbane, and AES events in Sydney and Melbourne.
